5, 4, 3, 2, 1 + 8 TO MAKE EVERY DAY GREAT!
Take six small steps to make every day a little bit healthier! Using the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 + 8 Method, you can easily add in a healthy habit to your daily routine.
5 – Aim to consume at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruit every day. Try for 3 veggies and 2 fruits to get your total of 5 servings.
4 – Make sure to drink at least four 16-oz servings of water daily.
3 – Have at least 3 laughs a day, because laugher is the best medicine! BONUS: it burns calories!
2 – Keep screen time to a maximum of 2 hours per day.
1 – Try and spend at least 1 hour per day being physically active.
8 – Do your best to get 8 hours of sleep every night. Your brain and your body will thank you!
Wellness Tip: Focus on just ONE of the healthy behaviors listed above. Slowly work the next one into your daily routine once you have formed a healthy habit with the first goal.
