By adjusting copays and deductibles, they managed to reduce the dealership’s fixed costs by more than 30%, resulting in over $700,000 in health insurance premium savings. This substantial reduction allowed the client to reinvest those funds into their employee benefits plan, enhancing the value for employees.
Jake and Michelle collaborated to implement a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan (MERP) funding strategy. This approach maintained robust employee benefits by utilizing The Difference Card’s MERP to cover any increased out-of-pocket expenses. Factoring in expected reimbursements and the convenience of Difference Card’s MasterCard payment technology, the net annual savings for the dealership totaled an impressive $412,200.
