The Difference Card helps Wisconsin School District save $1 million on their health insurance.
In the first year of using The Difference Card, the Baraboo School District saved $1 million in health insurance premiums.
By switching to a high deductible health plan and using The Difference Card, the school district was able to see a 20% reduction in their actual premiums for the 2019-20 school year.
Quoted by Dan Lewison of Don-Rick Insurance in the Baraboo News Republic, Dan said, “The district did very, very well with this program (and) continues to do so.”
The Baraboo School District expects to continue to see savings with The Difference Card for their 300 enrolled employees for the 2021-22 school year.
