April 9 COVID-19 Update: A message from our CEO
Hello team-
Thank you to everyone that provided feedback and comments through our Work from Home Survey last Friday.
We have begun sorting through the results and we happy to see that the majority of you have a optimistic view of working from home. Many of you are grateful that your commute is non-existent and are enjoying having more time for your family.
The Executive Team continues to meet weekly to discuss operations and the status of the company. We are reviewing expenses and taking steps towards cost-containment, but are happy to report that we continue to run on track and the business is doing well.
We have rolled out a promotion to help our Employer Groups during this difficult time. Any new group that signs with The Difference Card will receive a $2,500 premium credit on their first invoice. You can learn more about it HERE.
I will leave you with this thought today:
“When you go out and see the empty streets, the empty parks, the empty train platforms, don’t say to yourself ‘It looks like the end of the world.’ What you’re seeing is love in action. What you’re seeing in that negative space is how much we care for each other, for our grandparents, for our immunocompromised brothers and sisters, for healthcare workers, for people we will never meet. People will lose jobs over this. Some will lose their businesses. And some will lose their lives. All the more reason to take a moment, when you’re out on a walk, or on your way to the store, or just watching the news, to look into the emptiness and marvel at all of that love. Let it fill you and sustain you. It isn’t the end of the world. It is the most remarkable act of global solidarity we have ever seen. – Source Unknown”
As always, we appreciate your dedication to The Difference Card and I cannot wait until we are back together again.
Enjoy your long weekend and be well,
Gregg Lehman, CEO
